For theatre-goers and Bingo-players in the tri-state area, there’s a new game in town presented by the Erie Playhouse – We Gotta Bingo, which is being held at the East Erie Turners.
We Gotta Bingo _is a hilarious interactive dinner theatre experience. If you loved _Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding, you “gotta” see We Gotta Bingo. Patrons spend a crazy night at a church Bingo supper being held in a German beer hall where they become polka-dancing, bingo-playing parishioners at this wild, interactive hit! There's a delicious dinner, cash bar, crazy Bingo prizes and a live polka band.
As the story goes - the Irish parish of St. Patrick's and the Italian parish of St. Dominic's have been ordered to merge by the Archbishop. In a freak accident, which some say "was no accident," St. Patrick's was demolished by Mr. Scaloppini's (a member of St. Dominic’s) construction company. Now the merging churches must raise the money to renovate the crumbling structure of St. Dominic's. The bingo supper is the final fundraiser to help renovate the church. Tensions are high, the clock is ticking and of course, Bingo is being played with wild abandon.
